THE WORLD OF DANCE AND EXPRESSION!

Christy Kotsyfaki is the principal of Dance Ur Star and she is a highly experienced dance teacher that has been teaching Latin and Ballroom dances since 2004. She started her career here in Greece working in various different places and in 2010 she moved in London where after working for many schools there she became a manager and a teacher in one of the most prestigious dance schools in the UK, The London Academy of Dance! In 2016 she came back in Greece in order to make her dream come true, create her own dance studio in Athens that will combine the creativity that Greek mentality has with the structure and the program of the British dance system. She is holding teaching diplomas from both organizations that qualify dance teachers all over the world, IDTA and ISTD.

In the meantime she was a competitive Latin Ballroom dancer from 2004 until 2013. She took place in lots of competition in Greece, in the UK and a few other countries and she has been taught from the biggest coaches in the industry. While she was in the UK she participated in all the big dancing events that are world wide known such as the Blackpool dance festival, the UK Open Dance Championship etc. Now she is not actively competing any more, however she is still taking lessons with the biggest coaches here in Greece in order to learn more and keep improving her dancing and teaching skills.
